Job Description
We are retained to manage a really exciting search for a strategic and commercially minded Sales Director to lead the holiday home sales department of an independent and privately owned multi-site holiday park operator.
You will be a senior professional within the holiday home market, passionate about driving high performance and standards across sales teams and processes, while ensuring exceptional customer experience for all owners.
We seek an experienced leader ready to shape, own, and direct the sales strategy. You will be empowered to make decisions and drive change, building on the year's sales success. Equally important is establishing effective, robust processes and measurements, laying solid foundations, and implementing best practices alongside excellent sales performance.
The role requires regular travel around the parks.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement sales strategies to meet sales targets.
2. Inspire your team to believe in the vision and be driven to achieve it.
3. Collaborate with marketing to plan creative campaigns and attend events.
4. Prepare operational and financial sales reports using accurate data to support decision-making.
5. Implement and monitor sales KPIs and measurements to manage and boost performance.
6. Oversee recruitment, training, and career development of the sales team.
7. Manage stock effectively, considering seasonal demand trends.
