Location: Wolverhampton, West Midlands
Salary: £13.00 per hour
Shifts: Mon–Fri 08:00–16:30
Pertemps Wolverhampton are recruiting an experienced Press Brake Operator / Press Brake Operative to join a busy sheet metal and manufacturing company in Wolverhampton. This is a full-time role with steady weekday hours and the opportunity to go temp to perm for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
* Operating press brake machines in a manufacturing environment
* Working with sheet metal to produce components to specification
* Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
* Performing quality checks on finished parts
* Maintaining equipment and ensuring a safe, tidy work area
What We’re Looking For
* Previous experience as a Press Brake Operator, CNC Press Brake Operative or Machine Operative in sheet metal/fabrication
* Confident operating press brake machinery
* Able to read and work from technical drawings
* Strong attention to detail with good problem-solving skills
* Reliable, punctual and a team player
