I am delighted to be working in partnership with East Anglian Air Ambulance in the appointment of their new Director of People and CultureEAAA relies on its people, working in an effective culture to deliver lifesaving interventions and community support across our region. In the last four years the organisation has embraced 24/7 operations by air, launched a region wide CPR programme, extended its Aftercare provision and is about to embark on an ambitious growth project. Your role will be to keep the organisation agile and effective through its people and culture and be part of the next phase of change.As part of the Executive Team and reporting directly to the Chief Executive, you will guide trustees on all people-related matters and offer expertise on the development of the organisation via its people. Your remit will involve leadership of the HR, Volunteering and Community Training functions. This is a role which brings a host of intrinsic rewards, where you will need an empathic mindset coupled with a commercial focus. As an experienced HR professional with senior leadership experience, you will communicate effectively in all areas of an organisation and quickly grasp the nuances of their blended workforce. You will act as a conduit between departments, challenge thinking and monitor the mood of the organisation to keep the charity moving forwards. A perceptive leader, you will build strong relationships and promote transparency and best practice. You’ll lead by example and be approachable – not just knowing the names of every person at EAAA but also understanding their role, team priorities and ambitions. About you: MCIPD Qualified Demonstrable experience of leading an HR function and naturally have a sound knowledge of UK Employment Law and its applications.
