My client, a respected Facilities Management provider, is seeking a dynamic and technically qualified individual to lead the delivery of a key hard services contract in the Portsmouth area.\n \nAbout the Role: This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established FM provider and take full responsibility for the operational delivery and client relationship on a high-profile site. You will oversee the day-to-day management of hard FM services, including electrical and mechanical maintenance, ensuring compliance, safety, and top-tier service delivery.\n \nKey Responsibilities:\nManage the delivery of planned and reactive hard FM services (M&E, HVAC, fabric maintenance, etc.)\nLead, support, and motivate a team of engineers and supervisors on site\nBuild and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the main point of contact\nEnsure compliance with health & safety regulations, statutory obligations, and company policies\nControl budgets, monitor costs, and manage KPIs to drive operational performance\nOversee subcontractor activities and ensure contractual SLAs are consistently metAbout You:\nMinimum 5 years’ experience in a Contract Manager role within the hard FM sector\nElectrically or mechanically qualified (e.g., City & Guilds, NVQ, HNC/HND)\nStrong technical knowledge in building services/M&E systems\nExcellent leadership and client relationship management skills\nCommercially aware with budget and cost control experience\nHealth & safety qualifications such as IOSH or NEBOSH are desirableWhy Apply?\nCompetitive salary package up to £65,000\nAutonomy and responsibility on a long-term, high-value contract\nJoin a reputable and growing FM service provider with opportunities for progression\nBe part of a professional, supportive team environmentIf the role is of interest please send your CV in the first instance
