Salary: £70,000 - 70,000 per year Requirements: Degree educated in an IT related subject 5 years of experience in IT Management Working knowledge of Intel-based PCs Working knowledge of Windows Operating System Working knowledge of PC installations and repairs Responsibilities: I am primarily responsible for ensuring that incident and request tickets from the business are addressed promptly, tackling the most critical, urgent, or impactful issues first. I ensure all business-critical systems are backed up and that data retention requirements are adhered to. I maintain a proper and full inventory of all IT hardware, software, and contracts. I manage both operational and capital expenses, ensuring they are consumed sensibly. I communicate high-level and confidential information pertaining to the business as needed. I develop and maintain IT-related documentation, including business recovery plans, system design documentation, troubleshooting guides, and IT training material. I plan IT-related projects and meet the IT requirements of departmental projects, executing them to strict deadlines. I maintain and promote an ongoing and effective rapport with both the business and IT teams at all levels. I oversee the upkeep of LAN/WAN connections by liaising with internal network and telecommunication teams, as well as external telecom providers. I purchase and oversee the installation of all IT hardware, including laptops, desktops, printers, and scanners, within the constraints of operational and capital allocations. I ensure the maintenance and proper operation of the internal 'Help Desk' system, following established processes and procedures. I organize my own schedule and priorities to best serve the IT business needs both locally and globally, as well as the priorities of IT team members. I also receive trouble tickets and assist IT customers in resolving IT-related issues or problems as needed. I am responsible for any other duties as may be reasonably required by the Site Director or Global IT Operations Manager.
