What you will be doing

As a Senior assembly technician, you will work as part of a team to contribute to our business objective of delivering hydro mechanical assemblies & components on time to a high specification for the customer, whilst operating in accordance with safety requirements and within established procedures.

You will have the ability to play an active role in continuous improvement within your cell, develop existing processes and implement process improvements.

Responsibilities

* Quality checks own work to ensure it meets the required standards and completes the relevant documentation accordingly
* Raising of Non-Conformance documentation and assisting the Team and Management in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation
* Maintain all relevant operational control processes such as visual management boards and planning schedule
* Maintains equipment by ensuring TPM, 5S, calibration is adhered to
* Follows health, safety and environmental procedures and regulations
* Works in an integrated team to achieve the cells targets

Who we’re looking for:

* Experience in manufacturing operations & production environment.
* Experienced in operating hand tolls (fitting wire thread inserts, fitting lee plugs, fitting lee jets)
* Able to work to technical instructions and adhere to fixed processes and quality standards.
* Confident in interpreting engineering drawings.
* Knowledge & experience of a wide range of inspection techniques.
* Experienced in use of torque wrenches
