Clark Wood are currently working with an established independent accountancy practice in the Stockport area, who are looking to recruit an Accounts Senior to join their supportive and close-knit team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ACA / ACCA qualified or part-qualified accountant (or QBE), who is keen to take on more responsibility and continue progressing within a well-run and reputable firm. The practice has a strong focus on staff development and offers a clear path for career progression. Unlike larger firms where roles can be narrowly defined, this position offers exposure across accounts preparation, tax, VAT, and client advisory work. You will take ownership of your own client portfolio while working closely with senior members of the team and reporting directly to the Partners.
