Location/work pattern: UK based role – 1 day every other week in Manchester office

Our cross-functional team includes software engineers, mobile engineers, automation engineers, product managers, designers, and a delivery manager, working collaboratively to build scalable, secure, and innovative solutions.
Responsibilities
* Lead frontend development of Vypr Predict, ensuring a scalable, performant, and user-friendly experience.
* Maintain high-quality code in Next.js and TypeScript, following best practices.
* Implement and maintain frontend testing frameworks.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver complex technical tasks.
* Promote best practices in DevSecOps, CI/CD, and automated testing.
* Mentor engineers and foster a high-performance culture.
* Ensure usability through web standards and responsive design.
* Address technical debt and improve system long-term health.
* Research new technologies and recommend innovations.
* Contribute to technical strategy aligning frontend development with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
* Drive best practices in frontend development, accessibility, and UI/UX consistency.
* Collaborate with Backend engineers to align platform strategies.
* Mentor and support engineering team members.
Ideal Candidate
* Deep experience with Next.js, TypeScript, and modern frontend frameworks.
* Experience with web applications on AWS.
* Strong frontend performance optimization skills.
* Mentorship and decision-making abilities.
* Ability to work with cross-functional teams and explain technical concepts clearly.
