Location: Hounslow Role: Music Technology Teacher (Full-Time, Permanent) Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging and challenging Music Technology lessons across Key Stages 3-4 (and potentially KS5). Inspire students to develop a deep understanding of music production techniques, software (e.g., Logic, Pro Tools, Ableton), and hardware within Music Technology. Work collaboratively with colleagues within the Arts department to share best practice and enhance the Music Technology curriculum. Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of student progress in Music Technology. Potentially lead extracurricular Music Technology clubs or projects, such as school recordings or sound design for productions. We Offer: Competitive London-based salary. Qualifications & Experience: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Degree in Music Technology, Music Production, Sound Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience teaching Music Technology at secondary level (ECTs welcome to apply). Strong practical and theoretical knowledge of music production software, hardware, and sound engineering principles within Music Technology. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students in Music Technology. A passion for contemporary music production and the integration of technology in Music education.
