The Opportunity You will take responsibility for developing a warm and established customer base, where there is significant opportunity to upsell, cross-sell and expand share of wallet, alongside a clear remit to win new business. Typical deal values range from £10k£100k, with regular opportunities at £500k£1m level, supported by a large and experienced service and installation team. This is a role for someone who understands engineering solutions and enjoys selling on capability, reliability and lifetime value, not just price. The Role Develop sales of engineered solutions across various sectors Grow existing customer relationships through upsell and cross-sell of equipment and services Identify and convert new business opportunities across target industries Sell complex mechanical solutions, supported by a strong technical and service function Engage stakeholders from engineers and through to senior commercial decision-makers Work closely with internal engineering, service and installation teams to deliver end-to-end solutions What Were Looking For A mechanically minded sales professional or engineer-turned-salesperson Background in mechanical engineering or engineered solutions (e.g. hydraulics, pneumatics, lifting, offshore equipment, capital machinery) Comfortable selling technical, high-value solutions Able to build credibility quickly with technically competent customers Commercially driven, organised and proactive Ambitious, with the desire and potential to progress toward Sales Director level Why This Role?
