About the Role
Goodman Masson are supporting a leading educational organisation in their search for a Finance Manager to cover a maternity leave. This role will lead a small accounts team, ensuring effective financial management and supporting organisational decision-making. You will bring experience, expertise, and a collaborative approach to drive efficiency and innovation within the finance function.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and oversee the accounts team and day-to-day finance operations
* Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and compliance
* Maximise the effective use of finance systems and processes
* Support strategic financial planning and decision-making
* Work under pressure to meet tight deadlines while maintaining high standards
Person Specification
We are looking for candidates who:
* Are a CCAB or CIMA fully qualified accountant, or have completed all final-level exams
* Have relevant experience in a similar finance role
* Can use innovative thinking to optimise finance systems and processes
* Can manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
* Make sound and timely decisions under pressure
