Transport Manager - Recruiting Partnering Project (RPP)
Recruiting tomorrow’s Army today. Be the best to support the best! As Transport Manager you will coordinate vehicle fleet management for the recruiting operation, ensuring safe, compliant and operational vehicles for recruiters.
Responsibilities
* Co‑ordinate all servicing, maintenance and repair for a fleet of 300 vehicles, ensuring users are notified of collection dates.
* Review Vehicle Due Replacement Notifications reports and recommend vehicle type changes when required.
* Process transport request forms and report all Road Traffic Collisions (RTC) to the Data Impact Cell.
* Conduct managerial inspections to ensure policy and process compliance under current governance and regulations.
* Lead a small team, providing one direct report.
Qualifications
* Essential – Fleet management experience; Management/Team Leader experience; Ability to organise and prioritise in a fast‑paced environment.
* Desirable – Knowledge/Experience in MOD White Fleet transport management; Experience managing MOD Software Clarity; Familiarity with MOD White Fleet regulations.
