Overview
The post holder is expected to have full registration with the General Medical Council with a valid licence to practise and be on the Specialist Register for Radiology or be within 6 months of CCT or equivalent at the time of interview. The post supports sub-specialty MDTs, general diagnostic radiology duties, and on-call work (Specialist Trainee led on call service with evenings and weekends and outsourcing overnight). Home workstations are provided for protected daytime reporting, flexible working, and remote review of on-call imaging. Consultants are expected to provide prospective cover for annual and study leaves. The post is primarily based at Bury Oldham Rochdale, with a day/week cover for activities at Salford Royal Hospital.
