Here at Long-term Teachers we are working with a vibrant and inclusive primary school located in the beautiful seaside town of Torquay. The school is dedicated to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment where every child can flourish academically, socially, and emotionally. We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic KS1 teacher to join the dedicated team from September.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons that meet the needs of all pupils in KS1.
* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued and supported.
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback to pupils and parents.
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement creative and inspiring curriculum initiatives.
* Maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment, promoting positive behaviour and mutual respect.
* Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Education or a related field.
* Proven experience teaching in KS1, but experience in KS2 is also beneficial.
* Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and assessment methods.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Commitment to continuous professional development and a willingness to take on new challenges.
