Job Description:
Description
We are now inviting applications for the post of Bank TSSU Driver based in Kettering, Northamptonshire at our Ramsay Sterile Services hub.
During April 2023, we opened a new Decontamination Hub in Kettering. We are currently looking for experienced TSSU Drivers to join our busy team and be part of this exciting new development. The new purpose-built, state-of-the-art unit provides an efficient decontamination service to 9 Ramsay hospital sites and will operate 24/7, seven days a week. We seek a committed individual to join our Bank and work throughout the week and weekends, with flexibility over 7 days.
We are seeking a competent individual interested in flexible working, open to available shifts based on hub needs. Please note, on a Bank contract, shift patterns are not fixed, making this an excellent opportunity for current Bank workers or those seeking additional hours. The primary role involves driving, including collection and delivery of medical instruments between Ramsay hospitals and other site duties. A full driving license is required.
The role includes:
* Removing trolleys of sets/instruments from autoclaves
* Scanning sets/instruments into trolleys and producing dispatch notes
* Loading trolleys into company vans, ensuring they are not overweight
* Driving to various hospitals and unloading trolleys
* Collecting dirty/used sets/instruments and returning them to Sterile Services East
The ideal candidate will have:
* Good written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team
* Good computer skills (an advantage)
* Flexibility and adaptability
* Customer service skills
What is a Bank Contract:
A Bank contract at Ramsay Health Care UK is a flexible employment agreement where hours are not fixed. You work on an ad-hoc basis, filling shifts available in hospitals. It offers flexibility to choose shifts fitting your availability, providing a better work-life balance. Bank staff help maintain service levels during busy times or staff shortages, ensuring patient care continues uninterrupted.
