John Taylor Multi Academy Trust (JTMAT) believes in the power of education to improve lives - and the world. As a partner academy in JTMAT, we are seeking to appoint an inspiring, enthusiastic, and motivated Teacher to create an engaging and caring learning environment for the youngest learners in our nursery at Branston Locks Primary and Nursery School.
The Trust was founded in 2014, in John Taylor High School - an outstanding secondary school in Barton-Under-Needwood, and the first in Staffordshire to convert to become an Academy. We have grown steadily over time and currently serve 13 infant/primary schools, and 6 secondary schools. In addition, the Staffordshire Research School and John Taylor Teaching School Hub are also key parts of our Trust, having gained a reputation for delivering outstanding professional development and support for teachers across a wide ranging offer. Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be an excellent classroom practitioner with experience of teaching in Early Years. With knowledge of developing children\'s early reading, writing and communication skills, you be able to plan effectively to meet the needs of all children. Being accountable for effective learning, you will have the skills to assess, record and report on pupil progress, guiding children\'s learning to the next level. As part of a small team, you will contribute to the growth of the school, supporting the leadership team with implementation of the curriculum, creating resources and designing learning environments that enable all to achieve, and all to progress. This opportunity will be based in Nursery.
Requirements / Qualifications
* Experience of teaching in Early Years.
* Knowledge of developing children\'s early reading, writing and communication skills.
* Ability to plan effectively to meet the needs of all children.
* Skills to assess, record and report on pupil progress.
