Sous Chef with Live-in available - £47K to £49K Package.
Immerse yourself in the captivating world of coastal cuisine as Senior Sous Chef at our client’s relaxed restaurant and bar with rooms. This permanent role offers a competitive salary with the potential to earn an additional £7,000 to £8,000 in tips and service charges per year, and live-on-site accommodation if required.
Responsibilities
* Lead the kitchen team in creating mouthwatering dishes that delight discerning diners, covering lunchtime service to evening offerings.
* Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop innovative seasonal menus that showcase locally sourced seafood and meat.
* Mentor and develop junior chefs, fostering a dynamic and supportive kitchen environment.
* Embrace seasonal sustainability by showcasing locally sourced, seasonal produce in menu creation.
Preferred Requirements
* Extensive experience as a Senior Sous Chef or Head Chef, with a proven track record of leading a kitchen team and developing innovative menus.
* Exceptional culinary skills with a deep understanding of various cooking techniques and a passion for made-from-scratch dishes.
* Strong leadership abilities, with the capacity to mentor and motivate a team to deliver exceptional service.
* Excellent time management and organisational skills to ensure the smooth running of a busy kitchen operation.
* A commitment to using locally sourced, seasonal ingredients to create sustainable and environmentally conscious menus.
The Package
* Salary of £39,000 to £41,000 per year based on a 50 Hour Week
* £7,500 - £8,000 per annum service/tronc
* Closed Mondays and Tuesdays
* Live-in Available
* Free Parking
