Overview
As a teacher at our sixth form college, you will deliver engaging and challenging lessons that inspire academic excellence and independent thinking for 16–19 year olds in A level Mathematics and A level Statistics. We do not teach GCSE Mathematics. Collaboration with colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies and tailored support is essential. This role also involves contributing to the wider college community through enrichment activities and academic mentoring.
Responsibilities
* Deliver impactful, evidence-informed teaching to A level Mathematics and A level Statistics students, with a strong Maths background and passion for the subject.
* Work as a member of a team, sharing ideas and resources to improve teaching and student outcomes.
* Develop positive relationships with students based on equality, respect, joy and high aspirations.
* Contribute to the wider college community through enrichment activities and academic mentoring.

This is a one-year fixed-term contract, with the college currently seeking to permanently expand the Mathematics Department next academic year due to strong growth in students studying Mathematics.
