Private Laboratory in London – Biomedical Scientist in Blood Transfusion
Location: Central London | Start Date: ASAP | Duration: Ongoing | Working Pattern: Shifts between 8am and 8pm
Responsibilities
* Carry out blood grouping, antibody screening, compatibility testing, and issue blood components for transfusion.
* Ensure safe transfusion practices and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications and Experience
* HCPC registration
* Degree in Biomedical Science or equivalent
* Experience in Blood Transfusion within a clinical laboratory; Quality Management Systems beneficial
* Familiarity with LIMS and transfusion analysers
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
* NHS experience (preferred)
