This is an excellent opportunity for a hard-working, honest, flexible, and dependable person to join our friendly and busy Estates team as an Estates Supervisor at our college campus.
Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Estates Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running and general maintenance of the college campus to ensure the safe and efficient operation of all college facilities. You will provide a proactive response to the needs of students, staff, and visitors, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and upkeep so that all college premises are always presented in an immaculate state.
Essential Experience:
Must be a self-motivated individual, with strong team-leading, organisational, and communication skills. You should have a good understanding of the services provided by an estates team within an educational environment, including experience working with contractors in an Estates/Facilities setting.
You should demonstrate an enthusiastic and positive manner with the ability to work to deadlines and have great attention to detail and accuracy. You will be expected to observe safe working practices and have a solid understanding of health and safety legislation relevant to a college setting. Support will be provided to obtain any relevant qualifications.
Desirable Experience:
Experience in a building trade, commercial cleaning, or security of large educational sites is desirable. You should have a clean driving licence and own transport to travel between multiple college sites if required
