We're seeking a skilled Fire Operative to join a team maintaining life safety and security systems across a diverse property portfolio. You'll service, repair, and install fire alarms, extinguishers, emergency lighting, fire curtains, access control, and related systems.
Key Responsibilities of the Fire Operative.
Carry out servicing, repairs, and installations of fire alarms, extinguishers, and security systems
Working in London
Maintain fire safety systems to ensure compliance and safety
Diagnose and resolve faults, keeping customers informed
Maintain tools, equipment, and stock levels
Requirements for the Fire Operative:
Qualified to 18th Edition - 2nd Amendment,
BS5839-1, BS5839-6
NICEIC Fire Detection units (1, 5 & 6),
Experience in fire and security environments, with strong knowledge of British Standards
City & Guilds or NVQ 3 preferred
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Full UK driving licence
What the Fire Operative will receive:
£40,386 salary + policy allowance (£42,512 after 12 months, subject to performance)
