In this role of Year 6 Teacher, you will: Plan and deliver structured, engaging lessons across the Year 6 curriculum. Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages learning, curiosity, and resilience. Assess pupil progress, provide constructive feedback, and monitor learning effectively. Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development, preparing them for Key Stage 3. Work collaboratively with colleagues to share ideas, strengthen teaching practice, and contribute to school initiatives. Maintain high standards of behaviour, teaching quality, and safeguarding. What You’ll Bring as a Year 6 Teacher: UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification. Experience teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6. Strong subject knowledge, classroom management, and communication skills. Creativity, enthusiasm, and a commitment to helping pupils achieve their full potential. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
