Civil Litigation Lawyer needed in Rochdale Paying £23.67 per hr ref 000A C8B7 / 1
Full time hours on a temporary basis
Key Responsibilities
* Manage a diverse civil litigation caseload, including but not limited to contractual disputes, debt recovery, landlord & tenant matters, property disputes, and professional negligence claims.
* Conduct cases through all litigation stages including pre‑action protocols, pleadings, disclosure, witness evidence, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation.
* Draft, review, and advise on legal documents including statements of case, settlement agreements, correspondence, and opinion letters.
* Handle advocacy where appropriate, or instruct counsel for hearings, trials, and complex matters.
* Provide clear, pragmatic legal advice to clients, maintaining high standards of communication and client care.
* Undertake effective risk management and ensure compliance with regulatory obligations, including SRA standards.
* Contribute to business development, networking, and maintaining strong client relationships.
* Support more junior team members and collaborate with colleagues across the firm.
