We are expanding and looking for a Laminator to join our team. In this role you will set up, run, clean, and maintain our lamination machines.
Salary: £25,500 to £35,000 per annum (dependent on experience) + shift enhancement.
Work Hours: 40 hours per week, Shift system: Monday‑Friday 6 am–2 pm, 2 pm–10 pm, 10 pm–6 am.
Location: Chapeltown, Sheffield, UK. Immediate start for the right candidate.

Responsibilities
* Set up and operate a specific Laminating Machine according to company procedures and guidelines.
* Identify and ensure that proper materials and equipment are used for production.
* Pre‑run testing of the material to ensure correct coding weights and bond strength.
* Run the proper amount of material/footage to the job order.
* Check production and material for accuracy.
* Build up production orders and doctor blade assemblies.
* Perform all required quality checks prior to producing all production orders.
* Load and unload material from laminators using defined equipment.
* Install and remove laminator sleeves as required for each production order.
* Follow the production schedule as issued by production control.
* Follow equipment and workplace cleaning/sanitation procedures and complete the sanitation checklist.
* Check first, middle and last piece conformance to specifications.
* Perform daily and periodic preventative maintenance duties specified for assigned machines/equipment.
* Maintain cleanliness of machines/equipment and adjacent work area to AIB standards.
* Report quality issues to the Production Manager for analysis and remedy.
* Report all food safety violations to management.
Skills & Abilities
* Understanding of lamination process.
* Ability to read and understand rulers & gauges.
* Ability to use a micrometer.
* Testing of equipment.
* Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
* Self‑motivated, problem‑solving and decision‑making ability.
Experience & Education
* Proven experience in production, lamination and printing setting.
* Responsibility in the area of food safety essentials.
