Job Details Grade: 8A Hourly Rate: £19.54 - £21.20 Salary: £35,672.14 - £38,701.64 per annum Contract Duration: Permanent Hours: 35 Role Purpose Scottish Borders Council is looking for an enthusiastic programme support officer to administer Funding Programmes within the Economic Development Investment Team. The council is committed to delivering regeneration and growth whilst tackling local inequalities and poverty and promoting Community Wealth Building and a sense of Place, across the region. Now is an exciting time to join a dynamic team who are delivering results and making a difference. The team is responsible for administering UK and Scottish Government investment programmes such as Shared Prosperity Fund, Place based investment and Community Led Local Development fund, which is delivered in partnership with the Local Action Group. The team develops, manages, co-ordinates and monitors projects within these programmes. The postholder would ideally be experienced in supporting and co-ordinating funding programmes within the public sector or third sector and will have a good understanding of Microsoft packages and SharePoint. Essential Education, Qualifications and Training • HNC in Administrative, Business or Financial subject or equivalent experience • Ongoing commitment to Continuous Professional Development (CPD) A current driving licence and use of a vehicle is an essential requirement of this post. * If you have a disability which precludes you from holding a drivers licence, Scottish Borders Council will take into account its responsibility to make reasonable adjustments to allow for your disability.
