This is an exceptional opportunity to excel as a Sales Manager, driving sales and margin targets through effective management of sales tools and resources, proactive leadership and development of the sales team, cultivation of strong customer relationships, and implementation of strategic sales initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Building a strong team, reviewing, training coaching, motivating, monitoring and manage the team to implement the strategy of the company
* Achieving Sales and profitability targets on allocated Customers and Key Customer Accounts
* Seek out new customers and Key Account business opportunities with new customers
* To take a strong commercial approach to build and manage the business and customer base in a structured manner
* Achievement of sales and profitability budgets on nominated Key Accounts to maximise distribution of as many of the company brands and products, and volumes of such, into Key Accounts and independent accounts
* Development and delivery of promotional plans and annual marketing campaigns, where possible synchronising with in-house Marketing programmes
* Development and delivery of training programmes to maximise on sell out, where possible synchronizing with in-house Marketing programmes
* To spend time in store, as well as with the buyers, assessing the success of the brands and products to assist with strategising for continued growth. This element of the role can be done in conjunction with agents.
* Minimising returns and maximising sell-through of all ranges, developing programmes to achieve this.
* Demonstration of sales team leadership, by example
* Contribution at routine Sales Conferences
* Coordinating with Agents where appropriate to ensure the application of centrally negotiated agreements and promotional activity in individual stores
* Developing relationships with other suppliers to create cross-product promotions.
* To gain information, and report back to Sales Regional Director and HQ on sell in and sell out information
* To forecast and manage product contracts in conjunction with Sales Regional Director an HQ
* To manage selection process per customer and to assist Sales Regional Director in generic rating and selection for UK
* Report and identify trends on product and brands within customer base early, using the Company reporting systems in conjunction with customer feedback and sell though information and react accordingly.
* Co-op marketing budget in consultation with Sales Regional Director and Operation Manager
* Co-ordination of the activities of Agents with Operation Manager
* Budget management of Sales and marketing contributions
* Promotional and training planning for accounts
* New product launches in accounts
* Overall development plans for each account
Desired Qualifications:
* 5+ years' experience in a similar role - Eyewear experience is mandatory
* Master Degree in commerce or Similar
* Fluent English
