Tradewind Recruitment is delighted to be working with a warm and welcoming Bolton primary school seeking a talented Key Stage 1 Teacher (suitable for Early Career Teachers) to join their dynamic staff team from January 2026.
The successful applicant will take responsibility for a well-behaved and enthusiastic Year 1 or Year 2 class. You'll have the opportunity to bring creative ideas to life in a supportive setting that values innovation, teamwork, and professional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons aligned with the National Curriculum.
2. Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes pupil progress and wellbeing.
3. Use formative and summative assessments effectively to track and report progress.
4. Communicate closely with parents, support staff, and SLT to ensure every child thrives.
5. Contribute to the wider life of the school through enrichment and after-school activities.
Requirements:
6. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or ECT status.
7. Strong understanding of KS1 curriculum and phonics frameworks (Little Wandle/Read Write Inc).
8. Excellent classroom management, enthusiasm, and commitment to continuous improvement.
9. A valid enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply through Tradewind).
