Position:
An opportunity has arisen for a Healthcare Support Worker at Ayrshire Central Hospital.
What you will do:
As part of the School Immunisation team, you will assist with various duties, including setting up equipment before sessions, supporting children before and after vaccination, and monitoring stock at the end of the day. You will support the delivery of Flu Immunisation Programmes within primary schools across Ayrshire, working under the supervision of band 5 immunisation nurses.

Hours:
Between 20 and 37.5 hours per week. This is a fixed-term contract from 15th September 2025 to 28th November 2025. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 0900-1300 or 0900-1500 depending on school size. Annual leave is scheduled for 13th-17th October.
UK Driving Licence/Car Ownership:
Essential for this role.
