Location: Guildford, Surrey
School hours: 8:30am-3:30pm
Day rate: £107.00-£112.00
We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Learning Support Assistant to join supportive school settings, working with pupils who have Autism, ADHD, and Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a real difference in children’s lives and helping them overcome barriers to learning.
The role:
1. Providing 1:1 and small group support to pupils with additional needs
2. Supporting emotional regulation, engagement, and positive behaviour
3. Assisting the class teacher with tailored learning activities
4. Using strategies such as visual supports, structured routines, and sensory approaches
5. Building strong, positive relationships with pupils to support progress and confidence
We are looking for:
6. Experience working with children or young people (school, care, youth work, etc.)
7. A calm, patient, and resilient approach
8. Strong communication and teamwork skills
9. A genuine passion for supporting SEND learners
