The A Side: A Day in The Life UMUK value e-Commerce as a key foundational channel to connect artists and fans. This is a newly created role within our Ops team to deliver a best-in-class procurement and warehouse ops service across our artist stores. We are seeking an experienced eCommerce inventory and warehouse manager to lead all buying and supplier management across our eCommerce team. You will oversee our stock and product buying operations, as well as managing stock and demand planning across releases. You will also spot buying opportunities for our portfolio of music retail brands, along with supporting the operations teams with ad hoc management of our day-to-day eCommerce warehouse operations, ensuring all product is received, ingested, and shipped to our fans in line with customer expectations. This position requires strong communication skills, forecasting, business acumen, and relationship management. A strong knowledge of music and ecommerce consumer product is critical to the role. Roles and Responsibilities Stock Control Oversee the invoice and PO process ensuring correct delivery of all inbound stock. Working with procurement head for merchandise on merch stock planning ordering. Full supplier management, setting up new suppliers and working closely with them to ensure delivery of product into our 3PL supply chain. Update Bulk inventory for top performing and out of stock product. Efficiently achieve sales and profitability by consistently reviewing and appropriately editing product lines. Oversee customer demand, market trends, product / stock availability, product flow, and pricing strategy with eComm store managers ensure products are kept in stock to maximise sales potential throughout product life. Warehouse Inbound Coordinate day-to-day eCommerce fulfilment processes and tasks with our wider ops team and fulfilment partner. Work closely with our Senior Operations manager and inbound warehouse team to manage processing of stock in line with release dates. Support major releases ensuring product is booked in a timely manner and shipped to customers. Oversees all inbound warehouse enquiries from our fulfilment partner and is the first point of contact within our team for any new release or stock queries. Liaising with the WH (multi-site) inbound team on all stock queries and goods in process. Managing eComm CMS / OMS functions to manage stock and orders and effectively run all order management for the group. Including managing POs and product ingestion. General Proactive support for the team and helping to grow knowledge base on the Ops process and stock management. Liaise with the customer service team to update them on product ship dates and helping them manage customer expectation. Ad hoc work with the label in delivering sales and stock reporting. Communicate to the team where needed on best practice and manage expectations of store management and label in line with day-to-day operations at the warehouse. Person Specification Experience in buying role for an E-commerce/Retail brand including 3PL / fulfilment operations. Warehouse operations, inbound / outbound, experience. Ops driven and commercial & analytical approach to business, adept at working to tight deadlines and under pressure. Demonstrable inventory management experience, including eComm CMS / OMS to manage stock and orders. Strong stock management experience, planning and forecasting run rates and ordering stock in line with sales forecasts. Ability to work with multiple stakeholders across the group, from warehouse goods in, to store management to senior management. Experience of documenting processes and working with the team to implement new workflows. Strong eComm retail background, adept at stock management for music new release product campaigns and evergreen merchandising of artist webstores. Ability to liaise with third party suppliers, initiate and fulfil initiatives in a proactive manner. Strong communication, problem solving and co-ordination skills, with the ability to management multiple workstreams, often across multiple time zones. Strong track history of using data and analytics to make informed stock forecasting decisions. An interest in consumer insight and the impact on product offerings and an understanding of good customer experience Passion for music. Desirable Experience/knowledge of record label process.
