We’re First Central Insurance & Technology Group (First Central for short), an innovative, market-leading insurance company. We protect the things customers love so they can get on with what matters to them in life.
Data drives us. It fuels our outstanding distribution, finance, technology and legal services. Our underwriting skills are built on data expertise; it creates the insights we need to give the right cover to the right customers at the right price. But, it’s the people inside and outside our business that power us. They make us stand out, help us succeed. We’re ambitious. We’re growing. We’ve won awards.
Are you an expert in Employee Relations (ER) seeking a new and exciting opportunity to test your skills? We’re currently seeking a seasoned Employee Relations Specialist to join us for a 6-month fixed term contract.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive Employee Relations (ER) management support to our business pillar operations. As the ER Specialist, you’ll provide line management and will work closely with the Senior HR Advisors to ensure compliance and delivery of excellent guidance to managers on employment matters. You’ll also project manage the ER root cause analysis programme, which aims to understand, investigate, and improve how we provide support to line managers and colleagues. The project aims to highlight key areas of focus and by pinpointing and addressing the core issues, we aim to refine the organisational practices, thereby elevating the overall experience for our colleagues.
Working flexibly, you'll spend most of your time working from home, with one day a week spent in the office (so living within a commutable distance to Salford Quays, Manchester, or Haywards Heath, West Sussex would be perfect). But of course, it’s your choice - if you prefer to be in the office more - that's good with us too.
