I’m hiring a Senior Platform Engineer (Linux / AWS) into a Glasgow-based firm operating in global financial markets. The infrastructure here supports time-sensitive, high-impact activity. When something moves, it matters. When something breaks, it gets fixed properly. You’ll be someone who enjoys digging into:
* Linux and Windows in live production environments
* Virtualised infrastructure
* AWS within a hybrid estate
* Automation with tools like Ansible
* Enterprise networking and security
* Monitoring, resilience and recovery planning
Responsibilities
This is broad, hands-on engineering. Part operational responsibility, part project delivery. Often the escalation point. You’ll be trusted to think, to improve and to take ownership of complex systems without being micromanaged.
Location
Glasgow city centre. Hybrid working. Senior level.
Qualifications
* Senior Platform Engineer (Linux / AWS) with hands-on experience
* Experience with Linux and Windows in live production environments
* Experience with virtualised infrastructure
* Experience with AWS within a hybrid estate
* Automation experience with tools like Ansible
* Enterprise networking and security experience
* Monitoring, resilience and recovery planning experience
