Overview
Assist the Store Manager at Aldi UK in Blackburn by supporting store operations, people management and delivering excellent customer service. You may help with deliveries, placing orders, handling customer queries, managing holiday rotas, and driving the store to achieve its goals of sales, cost control and operational efficiency. You should be prepared to step into the Store Manager’s shoes in their absence.
Our Assistant Store Managers are passionate about performing well, motivating and developing their teams to deliver outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities
* Support the Store Manager with daily store operations, deliveries, stock ordering and customer service
* Manage and develop a diverse team, including people management and performance
* Organise holiday rotas and cover for staff as needed
* Help maximise sales, minimise costs and optimise operational efficiency
* Be prepared to step into the Store Manager role in their absence
Qualifications
* Experience as a people manager
* Experience leading teams in fast-paced environments with stakeholder/customer focus
* Strong time management and ability to boost operational efficiency
* Motivated to consistently achieve targets
