Offer description

Overview

This role involves assessments, management and treatment of patients mostly over 65 years of age with both organic and functional presentations. The base will be Reservoir Court in the Erdington area of Birmingham. The unit includes an inpatient service for older adults and CMHT offices for older adults and outpatient clinics. You will join one other Consultant, two Specialty Doctors, resident doctors, a Team Manager, Advanced Nurse Practitioner, CPNs, a Clinical Psychologist, OTs, HCAs, a Receptionist and team administration support. You will be part of a larger team that includes ten Community Consultants, three inpatient consultants and a Trust-wide Memory Assessment and Rare Dementia Service.
