1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant – Year 2
Location: Blackburn
Hours: 9:00am – 3:00pm, Monday to Friday
Contract: Full-time
Start Date: After February half term
We are seeking a caring, patient and dedicated 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to support a lovely little girl in Year 2 with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) at a welcoming school in Blackburn.
This rewarding role is ideal for someone who is passionate about inclusion and experienced in supporting children with additional needs. You will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to provide consistent, nurturing 1:1 support, helping the child to access learning and develop confidence and independence.
The successful candidate will:
Have experience supporting children with ASD and/or SEN (desirable)
Be calm, patient and nurturing in their approach
Support learning, communication and social development
Promote emotional wellbeing and positive behaviour
Work well as part of a supportive school team

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
