Role/Programme
As a UX Researcher Graduate, you’ll join our Research Design team in September 2025. This full-time role offers a chance to make a meaningful impact and kickstart your career. You’ll be onboarded with the global Graduate cohort in one of our offices and learn the basics of being a Wiser.
During the Design graduate programme, you will spend the first 9 months working in one of our product teams, shaping useful, usable, and memorable customer experiences. You will then rotate into a second 9-month placement with a different team within the same squad, adding breadth and depth to your skills. At the end of the 18-month program, you will settle into your permanent role.
We’re looking for a Graduate UX Researcher to join our multidisciplinary Design team in London. Your time will be split between working in one of our product teams and in our UX Research team, where you’ll champion research and best practice. You’ll be part of Wise’s global mission to build an open, fair, and human financial system—because people without borders need money without borders.
Your Mission
You’ll be mentored by several UX Researchers at Wise, collaborating with other Wisers and fellow grads on cross-functional projects. We plan our moves quarterly, and your mission will be mapped out with your lead. You’ll have room to grow and define your scope.
Here’s How You’ll Contribute
* You’ll get to know Wise product teams and customers, building empathy and understanding their needs.
* You’ll hone your craft skills in a collaborative environment.
* You’ll influence your team to prioritize customer-centricity, creativity, and design quality.
You will have flexibility in how and where you work. We understand everyone needs something different, so we’ll do our best to accommodate, but we recommend coming to the office as much as possible in your first months.
Qualifications
Must-have qualifications:
* You are graduating in 2025 or have graduated in 2024 with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
* You are able to start a full-time graduate job in September 2025.
* You are naturally curious about people and willing to question assumptions.
* You are interested in a career in User/Design Research.
* You have a good understanding of qualitative and quantitative research methods and want to apply them in a commercial setting.
* You have managed projects from start to finish during your studies, including planning, methodology, and data analysis.
* You can clearly explain your decisions to team members.
* You are confident discussing insights, learnings, and the impact of your work.
* Eligible to work in London.
Nice-to-have but not essential:
* Understanding of designing responsive web experiences.
* Curiosity about user testing and iteration.
* Experience creating production-ready deliverables.
If you’re excited about this opportunity and confident in your abilities, even if you don’t meet every requirement, we encourage you to apply by submitting your resume and samples of your work or writing.
Additional Information
Flexibility in how and where you work. We recommend coming to the office as much as possible initially. After six months, you can work from anywhere up to 90 days.
Benefits include paid sabbatical leave, volunteer days, professional development budget, weekly office meals, and a competitive salary starting from £37,000 GBP with an RSU package. Join us in a fun, creative environment with social activities and a global team that values diversity and inclusion.
