Day-to-day management of poultry units, ensuring exceptional bird welfare at all times
Deputising for the Farm Manager and supporting site leadership and decision-making
Monitoring flock performance: FCR, mortality, growth rates, uniformity, and health
Implementing and maintaining biosecurity, welfare, and assurance standards (Red Tractor, RSPCA, retailer codes)
Managing and motivating farm teams, including rotas, training, and performance
Liaising with vets, nutritionists, hatcheries, and live operations teams
Ensuring full compliance with H&S, animal welfare legislation, and company SOPs
Accurate record keeping and reporting on flock data and KPIs
