The Role
We are seeking a reliable, proactive, and dedicated Caretaker to support the site team in maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming learning environment.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll play a key part in the smooth running of the school each day.
Key Responsibilities
* Supporting the premises team with day-to-day caretaking duties
* Maintaining cleanliness and safety across the site
* Opening/closing areas as required
* Basic repairs and general maintenance
* Ensuring outdoor spaces and facilities are tidy and safe
* Assisting with deliveries, furniture setup, and movement of equipment
* Responding to urgent maintenance issues or site needs
* Upholding safeguarding and security procedures at all times
Ideal Candidate
We’re looking for someone who is:
* Experienced in caretaking, facilities, maintenance or a similar role
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
* Supportive of the school’s inclusive ethos
* Comfortable working in a special needs environment
* Physically fit and able to carry out manual tasks
