We are currently seeking dedicated Supply Teachers and Cover Supervisors to work across our two Alternative Provision sites in Wickford and Basildon. Our AP supports pupils who may not be accessing mainstream education and require a nurturing, structured, and resilient approach from the staff around them. What Were Looking For
Qualified Teachers (QTS/QTLS) or experienced Cover Supervisors Individuals confident in managing behaviour in small group and 1:1 settings Adaptable professionals who can deliver engaging learning to diverse learners Positive role models with strong communication and relationship-building skills People who are calm, resilient, and committed to improving outcomes for young people Your Role Will Include
Delivering pre-planned lessons or supervised curriculum tasks Supporting pupils with SEMH and additional needs Encouraging engagement, confidence, and progress Maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment Working closely with a skilled team of pastoral and SEN staff Why Join Us?
