Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic, committed Clinical Psychologist or Counselling Psychologist to join our well-established Complex Psychological Interventions (CPI) Service in Bristol. The post holder will provide psychological interventions (assessment, therapy, supervision and consultation) to the Inner City and East Assessment and Recovery Team.
Responsibilities
* Deliver psychological interventions including assessment, therapy, supervision and consultation as part of the CPI service.
* Collaborate closely with the Recovery Team and CPI colleagues to provide a cohesive service.
* Receive support and supervision from more senior CPI members and participate in continuing professional development.
* Contribute to innovative research projects where appropriate.
* Engage with the multidisciplinary CPI team and work across CPI locations (central hub at Callington Road Hospital and community bases) to support service users and staff wellbeing.
About the CPI and the Trust
The Complex Psychological Interventions Service (CPI) is comprised of multidisciplinary professionals, including Clinical Psychologists, Arts Psychotherapists, Medical Psychotherapists and Specialist Nurses. CPI provides a range of services directly to people who use our service and offers supportive functions to staff teams to enhance interventions and promote resilience and wellbeing.
Desirable experience and development
* Experience and training in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) are particularly welcomed.
