Pareto is currently seeking an Electrical Engineer to join us on a permanent basis.

This role reports to the Work Space Manager on site and involves supervising an engineer in training.
Key Skills:
* In-depth knowledge of electrical engineering.
* Ability to work independently to a high standard of quality.
* Designing new systems and modifications to existing installations.
* Electrically biased with a good understanding of mechanical and building services.
* Familiarity with building work risks, hazards, and asbestos.
* Minimum of L8 Awareness formal training.
* Strong understanding of legal compliance and maintaining high standards.
* Excellent communication skills for internal and external stakeholders.
* Innovative mindset for improving systems and processes.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Windows systems and GDrive.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Manage timely completion of maintenance and reactive tasks for client assets, acting as the first response for M&E and fabric issues.
2. Conduct regular inspections to ensure efficiency and safety of M&E installations, including statutory and insurance requirements, fire safety, and security systems, liaising with client staff.
3. Maintain records and manage documentation according to standards, including statutory testing, technical records, and reports.
4. Perform maintenance on M&E services, supervise works on fire alarms, security systems, lifts, and other relevant systems.
5. Ensure work quality, budget adherence, and client satisfaction, reporting regularly to the Pareto FM Account Manager and client representatives.
6. Support subcontractors in routine and emergency maintenance tasks, including out-of-hours work.
7. Assist in setting maintenance priorities, planning, and budgeting.
8. Prepare and oversee delegated maintenance projects, including scheduling, specification, ordering, and quality checks.
9. Provide technical advice and support to the client on M&E matters.
10. Collaborate with other professionals on project work, providing site and maintenance information.
11. Develop and share best practices in M&E maintenance with the team.
12. Participate in site and property team activities, contributing to security, health and safety, risk assessments, and disaster planning.
13. Support the implementation of the Asset Management Plan in collaboration with the client.
14. Undertake additional tasks as directed by the client and Pareto FM management.
15. Serve as the primary contact for the client when issues arise.
