About the Role:
We are seeking dynamic and results-driven Regional Sales Managers to lead new business development efforts within the Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM) sector. This role is focused on identifying, engaging, and closing new opportunities across the assigned region. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth by selling advanced CAM solutions to manufacturing companies seeking to optimize their production processes.
Key Responsibilities:
New Business Development: Identify and pursue new logo opportunities within the region, targeting manufacturers, job shops, and OEMs.
Sales Strategy: Develop and execute regional sales plans aligned with company objectives and market trends.
Customer Engagement: Build strong relationships with key decision-makers (Management, engineering, operations) to understand their needs and present tailored CAM solutions.
Pipeline Management: Maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads and opportunities using CRM tools; forecast accurately and meet quarterly and annual sales targets.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, technical pre-sales, and product teams to support lead generation, demos, and solution proposals.
Market Intelligence: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies in CAM and digital manufacturing.
Qualifications:
Proven track record of B2B sales success, ideally in CAM, CAD/CAM, CNC software, or industrial automation.
Experience in new logo acquisition and consultative selling to mid-size and enterprise manufacturing clients.
Strong understanding of manufacturing workflows, CNC machining, and digital production environments.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently in a regional role.
Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce, ACT) and sales enablement tools.
Preferred:
Technical background in engineering or manufacturing.
Experience selling software solutions (SaaS or perpetual licensing models).
