Level 3 Teaching Assistant - Secondary School Blakely £110 - £120 per day Start Date: September 2026 Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and ambitious Secondary School in Blakely for an experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated support team immediately. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and motivated Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting young people to achieve their full potential. The successful candidate will work closely with teaching staff to provide high-quality classroom support, assist with the delivery of learning activities, and help create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students. The Role As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include: Supporting teachers in the planning and delivery of engaging lessons. Providing one-to-one and small group support to students across a range of subjects. Assisting students with additional learning needs to access the curriculum effectively. Monitoring student progress and providing feedback to teaching staff. Promoting positive behaviour and helping to maintain a productive learning environment. Supporting students both academically and socially throughout the school day. Contributing to the overall pastoral care and wellbeing of students. Essential Requirements Please note that only applicants with previous school-based experience will be considered for this position. To be eligible, candidates must have: A minimum Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent). At least 2 years' experience working within an education setting. Recent experience supporting students within a school environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. A proactive and flexible approach to supporting teaching and learning.
