About the role:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant within a mainstream school, you will:
* Prove 1:1 and small group support for pupils with complex needs (SEN) as well as children with additional learning needs (ALN) including Autism, ADHD, and other complex needs
* Work closely with class teachers to adapt learning activities and create an inclusive environment
* Promote positive behaviour strategies and emotional well-being across the classroom
* Help to ensure all pupils can access the curriculum and feel supported in their learning and social development
Who can apply?

* Have a genuine passion for supporting children with SEN
* Are empathetic, patient and nurturing
* Can build strong, positive relationships with pupils and staff
The ideal candidate will have experience working with children or bring transferable skills from care, youth work, or similar sectors (experience is desirable but not essential)
Requirements:
Teaching Personnel provides guidance and support for obtaining the following:
• Education Workforce (EWC) Registration
• Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service
• References covering two years of employment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
