About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a warm and welcoming primary school in Stechford, supporting a small group of children with autism in their Resource Base.
This is a one-day-a-week position (Fridays) – perfect for someone seeking flexibility while still making a meaningful impact.
✨ What You’ll Be Doing
1. Supporting a small selection of children with autism in a calm, structured setting
2. Assisting with communication, sensory, and emotional regulation strategies
3. Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver personalised support
4. Creating a safe, supportive space where every child can flourish
What We’re Looking For
5. A caring, patient, and enthusiastic individual
6. Experience working with children with autism or additional needs is desirable
7. A team player with excellent communication skills
8. Someone who brings positivity, empathy, and reliability every Friday!

11. Hours: Fridays only (school day 8.30am - 3.30pm)
