National Travel Role, UK
£32,000 to £35,000 + paid overtime
Crem Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a well-established UK furniture installation business delivering high-quality, bespoke environments across commercial and automotive settings.
This is not a workshop-based role. It is a hands-on, nationwide fitting position suited to someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in precision and is genuinely comfortable working away from home most weeks.
The role in reality

Nationwide installation of bespoke furniture into car showrooms and commercial spaces
*
Projects run Monday to Friday, with regular stay-aways Monday to Thursday night
*
Return travel to the factory typically on Friday morning
*
Work locations change week to week and can be anywhere in the UK
*
Jobs are usually planned in advance, with occasional last-minute changes if sites are not ready
What you will be doing
*
Installing high-quality, made-to-measure furniture on live client sites
*
Working accurately, safely and cleanly to a professional finish
*
Representing the business on site with a calm, customer-focused attitude
*
Solving problems as they arise and working as part of a close-knit fitting team
*
Managing tools, materials and work areas to a high standard
Travel, accommodation and expenses
*
All accommodation is booked and paid in advance by the company
*
Typically Premier Inn with a pre-paid meal deal, or Airbnb when more suitable
*
Food is fully covered, either via meal deals or a weekly subsistence float
*
No expectation to fund travel or accommodation yourself
Hours and overtime
*
Standard 8-hour working day
*
Paid overtime applies when travel or site work exceeds standard hours
*
Overtime can occur to complete installs or when deadlines require it
*
Overtime is paid monthly
What we are looking for
*
Proven experience in furniture fitting, installation or a similar hands-on trade
*
Comfortable with physical work, lifting and site-based environments
*
Happy to travel nationally and stay away from home most weeks
*
Full UK driving licence, minimum 3 years driving experience
*
Over 25 years old due to company vehicle policy
*
Reliable, professional and able to work well with clients on site
