Applicants interested in working with a team committed to excellence and dedicated to food quality and sets high standards for output should apply.Touchmark, an Oregon-based award-winning developer, owner, and operator of premier retirement communities in the western United States and Canada, has brought this new community to one of the most dynamic locations in Prescott.As part of the culinary team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to a high-quality full service active adult retirement community by assisting the Chef with both culinary and administrative tasks as well as playing a key role in contributing to our resident and guest satisfaction and goals. Your commitment to delivering the highest quality of food, product standards, sanitation, and safety will ensure that every person’s dining experience is extraordinary, every time.The ideal candidate will: • High School diploma required, Degree in culinary arts or related field highly preferred. • Be committed to and passionate about high food standards and service • Three years of progressive experience in a similar environment. • Assist in training new and existing kitchen staff on the preparation, arrangement and plating of dishes per the current menu • Be experienced in setting up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies • Proficiency using computers, including MS Excel and Outlook. • Have an excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures • Have accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks • Demonstrated success in running a profitable kitchen. • Demonstrated success in managing and motivating a team of employees. • Be willing to work weekends and holidays • Maintain a positive and professional attitude when dealing with all guests and team members • Ability to work and make decisions in high pressure situations. • Possess a valid food handler’s card • Excellent interpersonal, organizational and supervisory skills. • Have experience working in a high-volume kitchen • Enjoy working both independently and as part of a large teamBenefits:Touchmark is dedicated to providing the best for our residents, and it all begins with providing the best for our employees.
