Job Duties:
1. Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Science lessons to students
2. Develop and implement a curriculum that meets the individual needs of students
3. Assess and evaluate student progress, providing feedback to students and parents
4. Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment
5. Collaborate with colleagues to share best practises and resources
Required Qualifications:
6. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
7. Degree in Science or related field
8. Proven experience teaching Science at the secondary level

9. Strong knowledge of the Science curriculum
10. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
11. Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students

13. Postgraduate qualification in Education
14. Experience using technology in the classroom
Working Conditions:
This role involves working in a school environment, following the school calendar and timetable. Occasional extra hours may be required for parent meetings or other school events.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
