About the Position
As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you will be the tip of the spear for Notium’s revenue engine. Reporting to our Head of Business Development (Birmingham, hybrid – 2-3 days on-site per week), you will work hand-in-hand with Account Executives and Solution Architects to open strategic conversations with finance and analytics leaders at target accounts. Beyond classic pipeline generation, you will:
* Map the SAP-installed base and whitespace, pinpointing where Notium’s Business Analytics expertise solves urgent business challenges.
* Design multi-channel outreach strategies that resonate with CFOs, FP&A directors and IT managers.
* Translate market feedback into actionable insights that refine our go-to-market playbooks and service offerings.
Your success will be measured by the quality and value of opportunities you create—and by the lasting relationships you build across the SAP analytics ecosystem.
What You’ll Do
* Expand Notium’s client base by researching target industries, segmenting ideal customers and initiating high-value conversations.
* Generate new business through outbound activities— personalised email sequences, social selling, cold calls, event networking—and run concise discovery to surface pain points.
* Maintain active engagement with new and existing leads, ensuring consistent follow-up, value-led nurturing and flawless CRM hygiene.
* Prospect & qualify: leverage N8N, Snitcher, Lemlist, Pipedrive, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ClickUp and intent data to keep your pipeline healthy and predictable.
* Craft the narrative: tailor Notium’s SAP Analytics story to each prospect’s data strategy, performance-management goals and digital-transformation roadmap.
* Collaborate with marketing: amplify campaigns, co-create webinars, and convert inbound interest into meetings.
* Represent Notium: attend SAP-centric conferences (virtual or on-site) to cultivate partner and customer relationships.
What We’re Looking For
Must-Have
* 3–7 years in business development, sales development or inside sales (B2B software or IT consulting).
* Curiosity about—and willingness to master—the SAP analytics stack.
* Track record using modern prospecting tools (N8N, Snitcher, Lemlist, Pipedrive, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ClickUp).
* Confidence in engaging senior stakeholders and converting technical capabilities into business outcomes.
* Self-starter attitude, disciplined follow-through and collaborative spirit.
Nice-to-Have
* Exposure to analytics / BI concepts, FP&A processes or data-driven decision-making.
* Familiarity with SAP Analytics Cloud, Datasphere, BW or competing platforms.
