Were looking for a dedicated and experienced Clinical Unit Nurse Manager to lead a unit within the home. This is a hands-on leadership role that combines floor-based nursing with some supernumerary hours, offering a great balance of clinical care and management responsibility.
What You Will Be Doing
As a Clinical Unit Manager, you will provide both clinical leadership and direct nursing care to residents. Your focus will be on ensuring the highest possible standards of care, dignity, and wellbeing for every individual.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading and supporting the care team during each shift to deliver person-centred care.
Overseeing clinical standards and ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
Carrying out physical and psychological assessments for new residents.
Developing and reviewing individualised care and therapy plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
Promoting residents independence, choice, and quality of life.
Building strong, positive relationships with residents, families, and staff.
Acting as a senior clinical lead and representative for the home during your shift.
About You
We are looking for a compassionate, proactive nurse leader who takes pride in delivering high-quality, evidence-based care.
You will need:
Current NMC registration as an RGN or RMN.
Experience in a nursing or senior clinical role
At least 3 years post-registration experience in a nursing or senior clinical role.
Experience managing complex clinical needs.
Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
A passion for supporting older people and enhancing their quality of life.
